24 in Twenty10: Scripture Memory Verse #3

Hi there Sweet Friends –

Thank you for all your wonderful words of encouragement, your prayers and your love!  I am healing up just fine and all I can say is WOW… is God EVER GOOD!!!  “Behold… He makes all things new!” (Revelation 21:5).  And another WOW… is Dr. Carpenter ever a gifted surgeon!!  And that’s all I’ll say about that!  🙂

OK, gang… it’s time to move on to Scripture Memory verse #3!!!  Congratulations!!  You have TWO VERSES “treasured up” so far… and on your way to a third!  Good for you!!!

OK – Here’s my new verse for February 1st.  It’s a verse I uncovered some years back and then the Lord encouraged me with it again, big time, last year during the breast cancer adventure.  I’m seeing other ways He’s using it in my life now and it’s just so powerful. It’s the Amplified Bible version of Habakkuk 3:19 and I absolutely love, love, love it!!   Here it is:

The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk- not to stand still in terror, but to walk, and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble, suffering, or responsibility!

Don’t you just love that???!!!

I don’t know about you but I could sure use some PERSONAL BRAVERY in a few areas of my life… not to mention my very own, personal INVINCIBLE ARMY to come in and help me do life – especially in my “high places” of RESPONSIBILITY!!  Of course we need His strength and help in times of trouble and suffering, but we have far many more days filled with just plain old “responsibilities”.  Maybe it’s only me, but I need some serious H-E-L-P with my day-to-day!!!  And I find it a huge comfort to know that He is there to help me get my stuff done and make some SPIRITUAL PROGRESS!!!  You too?  Glory to God!!

FYI a “hind” is a female deer (as in “doe-a-deer…”).  If you’ve never read the allegory, “Hind’s Feet on High Places” you should run out and treat yourself today!  It’s a classic… based on Habakkuk 3:19.  Read it a million years ago and it changed my walk with the Lord to a “dance”!  I’ve got it down to reread this year!

I am seriously proud of y’all!  You are annoying the heck out of the enemy with this practice of Scripture memory.  But you will DEFEAT HIM with the USE of the Sword of the Spirit – which is the WORD OF GOD (Ephesians 6:10-18)!!  Go on now… demolish some arrogant obstacles and some lying thoughts and take them captive with God’s Truth!!  (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

OK – Let me hear from you, sweetie girls!!  Hit the “comments” below and record your verse to share with us!!

In His grip,

Punky
