You’re never too old to be used by God. You’re never too out-of-touch or outdated to be effective and fruitful. You’re never “past the age” to be a spiritual fruit bearer. If you’re following the Lord, you have eternal value. So go on! Get about doing what he’s called you to do– the work that he created you to do!

“The righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
They are planted in the house of the Lord;
they flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bear fruit in old age;
they are ever full of sap and green,
to declare that the Lord is upright;
he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”
