07 Jan Rebirth Certificate

We buried my Mother today. I found this note yesterday, tucked inside her Bible, written on back of note from a gal called Ginger Jones, the Billy Graham Crusade counselor who led her to Christ in April of 1983. Such a sweet kiss from the Lord. ♥️

My pastor, Richard Ellis said, “What a timely gift. Everyone has a birth certificate; not everyone has a rebirth certificate.” 

I’m forever grateful for my Mother’s “born again” faith in Christ, and for Bill Graham’s faithful ministry to preach the gospel. And because of my Mother’s profession of faith, the words of my husband, Dr. John Tolson, were both comforting and true as he preached at her graveside today, “Your mom, Diane, is not here. She is with Jesus!” Amen! Amen! I will miss her, but one day I’ll see her again…for eternity.
