16 May The Worst Thing

The worst thing that could ever happen…
It’s not cancer.
It’s not the death of your child or loved one.
It’s not depression.
It’s not betrayal.
It’s not divorce.
It’s not racial issues.
It’s not war.
It’s not murder.
It’s not crime.
It’s not child abuse.
It’s not abortion.
It’s not immorality.
It’s not gender issues.
It’s not misogyny.
It’s not addiction.
It’s not political issues.
It’s not election fraud.
It’s not a financial loss.
It’s not the loss of your reputation.
It’s not your shattered dreams.

No—the worst thing is that a person does not know God through a relationship with Jesus Christ— that they would die unsaved and unforgiven, and therefore would spend eternity separated from God. That is the very worst thing that could ever happen.

And God, who so greatly loves this whole world, has given us the Gift of the forgiveness of our sins and a relationship with him forever through his One and Only beautiful Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only way.

Sitting in a church pew doesn’t make you a Christian—it won’t *save* you. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6).

God wants that *for* you and he wants that *with* you. The question is do you want it? You can have that Gift and enjoy the peace that Jesus Christ brings— The peace of God and peace with God, by simply saying to him:

♥️Lord God, I am a sinner, and I desperately need your Salvation. I need you, Jesus. I receive your gift of grace, the forgiveness of my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior! Come into my life, fill me up with your Spirit, and help me to become every bit the woman (or the man) you created me to be… To live for you, and to live with you forever! Thank you Lord! Thank you so much!
In Jesus name I pray this. Amen.“
