11 Mar There’s Nothing God Won’t Forgive

There’s nothing God won’t forgive when you come to him, tell him, and ask for his forgiveness.

Remember. Repent. Return. It’s what we’ve been studying (Revelation 2:4-5) in this Prayer series of the Life on Life podcast.

First, Remember. Remember the way you were with Jesus in the beginning– when you first met him, when you first started to come alive to who he was and to his word. If you can’t remember, then start now.

Next, Repent. Turn around and head in his direction and say, “I’m coming back to you, Lord. I’m sorry that I have pushed you aside that I’ve made my priorities all about work and life and the blessings you’ve given me. I want you back in that priority place in my life.” Ask him to forgive you, and you know what? He will! There’s nothing he won’t forgive when you come to him and tell him and ask for his forgiveness. So do it!

Then, Return. Go back and do the things that you did in the beginning. Sit with him, take time to spend with Jesus, acknowledge his presence in you and around you. Read your Bible. Open it up and read the gospel of John. Talk to him about what you’re reading and respond. When he tells you to something, whether it’s something he wants you to have or something he expects of you, then respond to him.

Wherever you are, whatever you’ve done, however far you’ve gone– you’re never too far for forgiveness.
