Where Do You Begin? Part 2

Good snowy afternoon, dear ones!

I will miss our time together again this week, but alas, the Sovereign Lord has providentially allowed another period of “rest from our work”… and I am certain it is with good reason. I’m so curious to know what He’s been saying to you during these days of “forced stillness”! He’s been dictating to me faster than I can write or think… even woke me up this morning at 4:00 am so I could get the full effect of Job 37:6-7… rain turning to sleet tapping on my window, then sifted into a fine snowy blanket covering the patio and yard…

“He directs the snow to fall on the earth
and tells the rain to pour down. Then everyone stops working
so they can watch his power.” (Job 37:6-7 NLT)

Our Awesome God! And to think that as wonderful as His force in nature is, it is nothing compared to the wonder of how He created “you”. The Lord may have spoken this world into existence, but He “formed” you and me (Isaiah 43:1), calling us by His name saying, “You are mine” (v 1). That’s who we are: His. That’s where you and I begin… as His. The first Identity-Grounding Truth we have got to get firmly in place in our minds is:  Believe that God personally created you!

We will explore more of this topic next week, as well as what you’ll be studying in your LifeWeek for this week (please download and print).

I don’t feel that the weather has caused us to miss one single thing except being in each other’s fellowship on Wednesday night.  As for God’s plans for us… they are right on schedule!

Pressing on in His unfailing love ~
