05 Jan Your Intimate God

Don’t ever forget that God is your personal, intimate God. Yes, God so loved the world… AND God so loved YOU. Each and every one of you specifically, he is your PERSONAL God. You were made by God, and you were made FOR God. That’s what he’s saying here in Isaiah 43 (and all throughout his Word): “You belong to me; you are mine.”⠀

He also tells you he loves you.⠀
⠀
He also tells you he will never leave you.⠀
⠀
And he tells you that no matter how bad life gets, no matter what you’re dealing with, he’s right there in the trenches with you.⠀

You’re going to go through rough waters. The scripture doesn’t say “if” – it says “when”. And when you go through rough waters, you’re going to get wet. BUT, remember that God is with you. Don’t forget that he tells you that you are precious, invaluable to him, that you mean something to him, that you matter to him. He is with you. He will help you.⠀

So if 2020 brought along rough waters, remember you were not alone in navigating the current. God was with you, and is still with you, in every moment to come in 2021.⠀
