The Good-Hard Seasons of Life

Here we are, approaching the end of summer and the start of a new season. Whether you have children preparing for back to school or not, I’m willing to bet you’re at least anticipating the end of these hot days and looking forward to what’s next.

I certainly am! I have felt every day of 2023, with two knee surgeries and alllll the recovery that goes along with that. It has been a good-hard season and I’m looking forward to the end of it. I’m ready to get back to writing, podcasting, and finding new ways to do life with all of you!

If you find yourself in a similar good-hard season, remember– all of this season is purposed by God. And if you take the time to pray through it with the Lord, you will not waste it. Even though you will likely walk through some low lows and a few deep valleys, the Lord will be involved in all of it. Remember this: we haven’t wasted anything that God has allowed or given us when we give it right back to him.

The season you’re in (and the season ahead) is one that God has already walked through. His footprints are all over it…He’s already there and he will meet you at every step and guide you at every turn.

My hope for you as we live through the 2nd half of 2023 is that you will seek God first with all your heart, that you’ll come to love him more, that you’ll come to know him in ways you haven’t known him before. And, in doing that, you’re going to find and discover him so much more. ❤️

Don’t wait for January 1st to make the most of this season. Start today!

I love y’all!

P.S. Please let me know how I can pray for you in this season, whether it’s good or a good-hard season! I’d love to pray for you, right where you are today.
